Knives are a very important part of cooking and food preparation. They allow us to easily and accurately cut foods if they are sharp. If they are not, they can ruin the shape of the food or slow down cooking preparations.
Are your knives sharp? How often do you sharpen them?

Your post reminds me to go to a guy who will sharpen my knife. I bought a knife about 3 months ago, it was very sharp, but recently I found out that it is not sharp anymore.
I need someone to make it sharp again.

@mrki444 Our knives are sharp enough but you are right. Not having a sharp enough knife can be irritating from trying to cut things accurately.

@mrki444 That is true! It's also hard to cut into a full watermelon too. Well it is for me if the knife isn't sharp enough. Otherwise I struggle quite a bit.

More people cut themselves badly with blunt knives than with sharp ones. A sharp knife will cut cleanly where it's wanted and with little effort; a blunt knife needs much more pressure and is much more likely to go off course and slice your finger instead. Learn how to sharpen knives properly and do it frequently!
