Baseball is still our official National Pastime, but the NFL seems to have surpassed it in popularity. As a player and fan of baseball, I realize that the game is not as exciting to watch as football, but I still think that it should remain our national pastime simply because it is such a great game. I love everything about it. What are your opinions?

Baseball - Baseball
same here. baseball is the sport of equals. if you do not have the height chances are you won't be able to make it in basketball. if you do not have the porer size you should forget about becoming a linebacker. baseball is the only sport where size does not matter. look at gaeddal the only midget to have pinched hit at a game. also baseball is more mental than physical. its outwitting one another. as bob gbson mentioned, there are only two types of pitches, one is the batter is looking for and the other one is the one that screws them up. where else in sports can a number evoke reverence? try this out out, 56, .401, 73
