You never know when the weatherman will be right. Today is not one of those days. It was supposed to be raining all day. I'm sure all fathers are happy with the sunshine instead of rain. It's a beautiful sunny day. We did get rain overnight and a lot yesterday.
I just got home from church. It was a different morning. Last night I realized I didn't get a call from the pharmacy and looked and sure enough, no medication. I was up early this morning, nothing unusual about that, and headed over to Walgreen's to pick up my medication and find out why they didn't call me. I actually forgot all about it until last night. Otherwise, yesterday was a good day for food and fitness. Here are the numbers.

There's been a trend in the last few days. I'm going to slash that trend today. I'm doing a fast to get rid of all the toxins and water weight. I have no idea why my weight is going up when I'm not eating stupidly. I needed the Veggie Straws for the sodium and the potassium yesterday and I achieved both. It's doubtful I'll see that again as I'm not going to eat three meals just to get all the potassium necessary. Doing so upped my calories to a level I didn't want to see. I am not a happy camper this morning. I'm going to lose this awful weight before my birthday. I have just under a month to make it happen. Otherwise, I'm happy with the fitness side of things. I'm getting my steps and my exercise. It's going great. I just need to get rid of the water weight. So today is a water day. I'm not eating. I don't know how long I'm going to fast. It might be a couple of days. Don't panic. I need to fast for that awful colonoscopy test and that's three days, I can do this for a couple of days too.
Once I start eating again, turkey bacon is back on the menu. I've had a hard time getting my sodium since I took it off the menu. It's back.

Well I hope that the fasting goes well, however long you decide to stick with it. I follow people who do alternate day fasting, so they just eat Monday/Wednesday/Friday and so on...

Yes you're right we would be happy for a sunny day but we couldn't control the weather. My family and I spent Father's Day at the mountain spring resort while it's heavily raining. But yet we did enjoy.

I started with Whole30 and am now doing Paleo which is similar to Whole30.
It all depends on how serious you are with it. I need to lose the weight so I can get the knee replacement surgery. The doctor won't do it until I lose weight. I still have a long way to go. It takes time to lose.

Not great yesterday with either, but today was better. It is frustrating when you reach a plateau. I would guess your body is getting adapted to your diet, you might have to change it up a bit..

The fast worked. Though I needed to eat supper. Not that I was hungry, but had a headache from not eating. I lost most of the water weight. I don't know what I would change it up to. I like eating healthy and seeing this new look happening when I see myself in the mirror.
