Too honest

I have these instances in my life where I have things that I want to keep as a secret, not because they’re bad or something, it’s just I don’t think that I should tell my parents about it.
I don’t intend on lying and I think it’s not counted as lying actually, it’s just not telling. But whenever it happens, I always tell everything without them even asking. I just blurt it out because I keep on thinking about not telling them but I end up talking about it with them.
I just find myself weird because I can’t lie to save my life. But being honest is a good thing, right? What personality of yours shock you?

If you don't say anything some people would say it is lying by omission.

Me too, there are certain things that I kept to myself because I think it is not worth sharing. I am not hiding it, but I just felt it is something that they should not know.
