So Much for Urbanization Being Bad

I remember right after everyone started doing the lock downs. Many of the news pundits saying we need to stop focusing so much on urbanization so pandemics like this do not happen in the future. My city is not listening, they zoned 200 more new houses down the street by our newest high school. So much for that beachfront property if they are still packing them in this state. Great, more traffic also. The good news is our county is finally showing the amount of people who have recovered from the Corona Virus. The local paper is actually reporting it also. It was driving me crazy how national news only reports how many keep getting infected, but never how many recovered. Our county with a spike from the weekend now has 9,361 infected since the start of this pandemic. Apparently a big outbreak surge in Chino Prison as well as people not wanting to wear masks anymore. The good news is 5,450 of those 9 361 people have been projected as recovered. The way my mind works would tell me that means, 3, 911 people are the true amount this county needs to worry about. Who knew, maybe I am a glass half full guy? My sister was telling me, it does not matter because the people who recovered are probably Asymptomatic or still carrying the virus. I go, it matters a lot because it lets us know exactly where we stand and if it is getting better or worse. To me,that is good news and slowly improving, Its not all doom and gloom, She said, yeah it is, We All Are Gonna Die. Now if the National News would report the amount of projected people that have recovered.

My little town has only had 23 deaths out of 142 cases. 22 from nursing homes and one regular person. Whatever the numbers are, I don't know who a carrier may be, and prefer to be safe rather than sorry.

Indeed, always use common sense. The other good news is they say people who are asymptomatic rarely spread the virus, but they need to do more research.Common sense would dictate if you are older or have a weakened immune system,do not trust that data, but in scheme of things hopefully that helps with all the people like our president who are being careless because they just want to say fake news all the time.

Dang, pretty good because that one person did not spread it. I am so already for this crap to be over with also, but does not look like that is happening anytime soon, especially with this president.

Our numbers are increasing since the ease in lockdown. But still the situation is in control considering the population density of our country. Moreover recovery rate is pretty good. I too like to look and hear the positive news. Asymptomatic carriers are real super spreader. Better to stay safe and take all necessary measures.

Yeah, I think virus is here to stay so we are going to have to learn to live around it. Once they get a vaccine is when they say we can finally get back to normal.
