Y do couples complain of lack of attention from their partners after 10-15yrs of marriage?does their love fade away?

I am a bachelor and my expereience is this is issue is know how from the seniors. From what i have heard the first six months are like living ion heaven, then till the next tree years or so you will have a very tough time. After this is fine again when you have your children and know that you have someone to live for.
