I was going to read a while, maybe an hour or less. But when I looked up, the day had gone and I hadn´t mylotted at all.
I must have many notifications but I´ll check them tomorrow. It is past midnight now. I´ll turn the lights off.
I´m reading Of Human Bondage by William Somerset Maugham. I had read it decades ago as I have read other books by him. My mother had anthologies with thin leather covers. The paper was very thin, as the paper in the old Bibles.
I´m sure many of you have never heard of this author but it was a British best seller at the beginning of the XXth century.
Sleep tight, friends. See you tomorrow.

The Gutenberg project has many books online. I will climb the stairs one of these days to see what books in paper I want to read.

@marguicha I have many CDs with books from the Gutenberg project, at least I can read using my small laptop while I sit on the sofa.

I had read several of his books many years ago. Now I am reading them online in the Gutenberg project (for free).

@marguicha That is good. Reading a lot widens our horizon.

That is what often happens to me when I begin reading. I take books I enjoy and often reread them and get lost in the pages like Pride and Prejudice and Little Women,

In these days of quarantine, I have read all of Jane Austen and most of Louise M. Alcott. They are all in the Gutenberg project for free.

It is the story of a boy until he becomes a man. He has a club foot and suffers from being a cripple.

Yes, I've heard of the book and the author. Sometimes you can get lost in the story and the time flies by.
