Is it possible to bring back category feature?

It's possible to request something, of course, but the answer to your request is that we don't propose to bring back the 'categories' or the 'interests' features. They were commonly abused and, in any case, were limiting, since many - if not most - discussions can belong to more than one 'category'. That is why we introduced tags. Used properly, they are much more flexible and useful than the old categories and interests features. myLot never showed active users. It displayed the number of registered members at thee bottom of the page and there was also a way of listing members from different countries (provided that they had chosen to show that information in their profiles) but it never showed which of them was active and which not OR who was online at any particular time. In general, the answer to whether there are any plans for new features is "no". myLot is run on a not-for-profit basis: any revenue not used for maintaining the website is paid out to members and there are no plans at present to invest any time or money in new or 'improved' features.

To check who is active it is enough to go to Explore and check "Most Recent Activity", you see all those who are posting, commenting discussing.

I do remember the categories. Now we have tags. Try finding interesting tags and hope for clever users who have tagged their discussions correctly :-)

I don't know about the old features.

I am new fear, so don't know about like those features. But on reading your posts, those features really helps a lot I think.

i DON'T want it back, categories gets doubled by the day before.

i believe bubblews had that feature before. that site that stole much of the users' money for redemption.
