Crazy Pandemic Times

Yepp, have not been here since March. Life is crazy all around the globe. Who would have guessed a year ago? Or just six months ago? When is Godzilla due? When will the volcano in Yosemite finally erupt? Geez, what a crazy year. And amidst all this staying home, working from home, lockdown here and lockdown there... I had to to an internship for a new job (that's what my new boss called it, it was more like a probation time). 100% online, we only had one day in the office together to see how we would get along. Aaaaaaaand, I got the job. Administrative assistant for the boss and the whole team for a totally mixed international department all around the globe. I do have colleagues from Japan, China, most European countries and the US. And I so LOVE it. It's what I have always wanted in a job and so much more. I couldn't be happier... until I read or see the news and it yanks me back to the ground. So many people dead and dying, so many people out of jobs with serious financial problems. Oh my gosh... How are you coping?

Congratulations on the new job! I'm so happy you love it. Our state has the least number of new virus cases and it's still dropping. However, I'm staying home and staying safe.
