Hi friends, due to my kid online classes I become very busy. Not possible to active hear, but I trying my best to give at least my post and trying to spend hear. For today break fast we go for health Ragi Idli. I think this is also one of our traditional dish but now all known very well about it. Today I prepare very simple and easy way. Already we have Idly batter, with it just add ragi flour, cumin seeds, on addition required water we prepare batter. Then after leave 20 minutes, then poar in Idli Moult, now on using steam cook. I cook that batter. For cooking it take 5-10 minutes. That's all now it ready to eat, for coconut and onion Chutney combinations this dish simply super. Can I know how many members known about it??

Raghi is called Finger Millet in English. it's a type of grain and must be quite popular in Kenya and other African countries. it is also consumed as a drink by boiling it with water.

@jayanth_77 Ragi is healthy and I think a bit lighter than whole wheat, and easier to digest.

Raagi is really good for health. I too add the flour sometimes to idli batter. My maid makes very nice raagi mudai...a dish of Karnataka. I make idli of raagi mixed with sooji/rava.

@Lavanya15 Only raagi does not become fluffy. How do you make raagi idlis?? Not this one where you add to idli batter.

I have had Ragi Idli as well as Ragi Dosa as well in the past (MTR brand and one more). Yet I have not had something similar in the recent past. The one in the picture looks delicious. And do you also add some more flavors to your coconut chutney?
