This is my 3rd post in myLot.
I can't wait for Friday. I have several plans for upcoming weekends. Definitely i will jogging on Sat/Sun morning, make wines, spend times with piano, and also watch my children playing console games (PS4).
It is very frustrating. They asked me to join the game, hand over the joystick and asked me to play. Kid, It's been long time !!. Last time i used joystick when the console was NINTENDO with games such as Super Mario and Tetris.
Kids so happy to beat me in the games. I feel humiliated, but i can't compete with them, my finger no longer lively as before, and i am not familiar with the console. (Please note the only game i play right now is civilization V, thats PC games)
How about you guys?, i hope you can spend quality times with your children.

I'm not yet a parent but I believe this is not something being loser or winer, your children is your part, so don't think this way and they are not apart from you. If they win, you win. If they lose you lose. Be a kid with them, play with them, be a friend.

@BenWardhana Believe me children grow up very fast. By the time we realize it they are already leaving the nest and on their own. Its is therefore important to utilize every moment of their childhood with them, Investing time with our children is the greatest pleasure any parents could ask for.

@seserica when i was a kid, me and my brother always compete, never know who is the winner. Anyway, it's great time to play with our sibling, memorable.

@m_audrey6788 maybe this is story of parents worldwide LOL. Children nowadays is much better for stuff like playing games. The most important is they have to understand and manage the time to play and study.

As far as I can remember I never played games with my kids.I am just not into it. They are all grown up now and has become parents themselves. I see they still continue playing games and competing with their own kids. They are truly enjoying themselves and can see a healthy bond between father/child through games. I didn't see that when they were kids.

@BenWardhana Games have never been a priority then. I like going out to see places and so I tag my children along wherever I go. They still remember those long drive and now they in turn drive me around whenever they are free,

@zandi458 Agree with you, it is important to have strong bonding between parents and kids.
It is not really competition anyway, the most important is create quality time between parents and children, something small that they can remember later on.

Children have lots of energy, especially in games. I also often teach my child lessons through games. From there I will discover my child's strengths or weaknesses. My child has always wanted to win games, not lose. Sometimes I let my child win to encourage her. Sometimes I let my child lose so she has to learn to overcome.
