There no huge haystack in here. Mostly used for feeding cow,buffalo,or just get burned

Greetings from another person in another country that lives on rice and other rice products!
Where I'm from, so many people depend on working in the field that they don't like agricultural machinery because that would mean they will be out of their jobs. That's why instead of mechanization, rice scientists nearby would churn out breeds of special high-yield rice every season or so, and teach farmers how to do environment-friendly farming techniques.

That's a huge paddy field. These paddy look smaller in height. Are these smaller variety of paddy.
