Watching a documentary about transgenders / myLot

When it is so near the Pride Parade, I saw fit learn more about transgenders. I have always thought that if we learn about other people it is easier to respect their differences and discover how similar we are in other senses. Netflix has a documentary called Disclosure and it has to do with the relation between transgenders and Hollywood movies. I suggest you watch this film. It is very interesting.

I never judge or criticize before knowing more. We met a computer programmer in France who was a transgender and he (she) was really a very intelligent and nice person.

Gender has no influence in intelligence. But people who have been harassed for a long time can have many scars

@LadyDuck In my country they are opening to change. But there are always "hate" incidents. Now the law punishes more severely the perpetrators.

@marguicha So true, I am glad that in France they were particularly open toward those considered "different", in Italy they are still discriminated and bullied.

I think a lot of bigotry results from ignorance. The more informed people are, the better.

@JudyEv You are right. I think a lot of people learn some of the negative things from their parents that cannot deal with things that have changed in life.

I might want to watch that. I recently read in a book about this Pride Parade and the rainbow color for transgender. It is interesting to know more and be more informed.
