Hello Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening to all my dear mylotters I woke up in a good weather. Sunny and cool air. Not too hot and not too cold kind of weather. Since, It`s Friday and my free day of cooking. I want to share a dessert I learned from my mother when I used to live in the Philippines. Mais con yelo is a corn with milk, little sugar, tid bits of cheese (optional) and crushed ice together Simple to make and the taste is really good especially on summer time. How about you my dear mylotters? Do you know Mais con yelo? I hope you can share it with me here Have a great day and Happy mylotting Photo: google

@m_audrey6788 I have a question. my Mexican American friend told me that mais is the "old people" word for corn. Con is with, I think. What does yelo translate to in English? I don't know that word!

@kucing123, Add crushed ice for that, but let it cool first then add crushed ice and other ingredient like fruits, such as avocado, banana, cooked sweet ube, kaong, sweet nata de coco, sweet beans and other dried sweets.Sliced them too. It is delicious for your mais con yelo, too.

Simple desert with corn. The corn must be boiled isn't it ? Else it would be hard with the dessert.
