Into the summer. While I have a semi-green thumb if there is such a thing I do forget to water my house plants. Do you see the flower in the foreground? Not only have they never reflowered for me they normally die before I've had them very long.
Have a nice Saturday. I work at noon today and started the dishwasher already. I bought new I've trays and need to get the water out of the car to go into them. I'm making keto pancakes for breakfast and going to work a bit early with returns.
Here's a different piece of news. Out state is our of coin especially what's needed for the uscan machines for some reason. But the regular cashier's at lanes still have coin. Maybe it's due to the bottles being returned to stores?

I have never seen those plants here, pretty flowers. About the shortage of coins I have read that it is not only your State. Banks around the U.S. are running low on nickels, dimes, quarters and even pennies. The authorities are working now with the Mint to increase the supply.

@MarshaMusselman As I said it is in ALL US States, not only in yours and it surely is due to the fact that due to the virus they produced less coins.

@LadyDuck I heard yesterday that they actually closed the mints when they closed the other businesses. Maybe from the short supply they are realizing that would be an essential business after all.

Did they say why this is? I'm guessing it's because our state opened up bottle returns and rarely do people only get it in even dollar amounts.

Bravo, you got a bloom. Those are very pretty. I once knew a lady that had tons of them growing in her yard.

@Namelesss I mean growing then in the yard. I've seen green things first hand before as my mom was good with her flowers back in the day.
I would love a pic of her flower garden but that wasn't a thing back then. I wonder if her bedroom still look the same it if each new owner replaced her plants with ones of their own. If covid wasn't s thing I could go look and ask to take some photos.
Maybe I'll think about that anyway when I'm bored or something.

@MarshaMusselman Really? That lady had one amazing green thumb. She's long gone now but if I had half her gardening talent I could grow anything. Yours look very healthy.

I had a friend that got one to grow for several years. It went dormant at least once a year but always came back. My never went dormant but I also never remembered to water mine on a regular basis either.

I have it in a window where I see it often enough and I've kept a jug of water nearby leaving me no excuses when it needs water.

Thanks, I'm happy I figured out the trick. Simple really. Not let it get dehydrated, lol.

Those are pretty flowers. I have never seen them before. They have interesting colors and look more of artificial ones.

They come with either green leaves or this purple ish color. They open in the day and close at night. I'll include a pic shortly.

I was not aware of the shortage of coins, but then again, I never use cash (or coins) for anything. I mostly use my ApplePay, or my credit or debit cards.

I'm pretty sure they are mainly a house plant it maybe mostly in the northern states at least. In all my travels I've never seen them growing in the ground. They come with green leaves it the burgundy your see here.
We only get them in March and never again after that.
