Hey there, everyone. Today is seven years since my Daddy passed away from lung cancer. I'm currently wearing the Lung Cancer Awareness shirt @Courtlynn made for me several years ago. I still appreciate that, and the Lung Cancer Awareness hoodie she got me, as I don't find a lot of Lung Cancer Awareness products. I'm going to attach a picture of myself in the shirt she made me, but it's from several years ago. I don't feel like snapping a new one today. My anxiety hasn't been bothering me today, which surprises me considering how I've felt almost all week. Obviously I miss him and I'm a little emotional today, but I'm okay. My Momma isn't herself of course, as they were married for over 40yrs before he passed, so I'm watching "A Haunting" with her. It's become our new tradition for weekdays, but I decided we'd watch it today since she gets into it. We're also ordering Papa John's since nobody feels like cooking, and that's okay. Oh, and Momma was holding the kitten earlier, so I'm hoping that helped a little bit. I'm working on a few writing orders in the dining room. My Mom is going to watch a movie in here at 8pm, so I'll probably move into the living room. I'm not sure what I want to watch yet to be honest, so I'll play it by ear. So we're all missing Daddy of course, but we're doing okay and keeping busy. I'm going to attach the post I made last year, as it goes into more personal details of Daddy. For those who reached out on my recent post about feeling off and grieving, thank you so much. I know I need to get back to everyone. I haven't been as active as I should've been this week. Anywho, here's that post: https://www.mylot.com/post/3286062/six-years-since-we-lost-daddy I'm going to wrap this up. You all enjoy the rest of your weekend, stay safe and take care. Photo Credit: I snapped this picture in either 2014 or 2015. Thank you again for the shirt, @Courtlynn!

Your picture in the Lung Cancer Awareness shirt is beautiful! Your Dad is very proud of his daughter, especially now. I miss my father too, even thought Dad passed away from old age. It's sad that you lost your Dad too early, to a cruel disease called lung cancer. I'm glad your anxiety isn't as bad today, mine is doing better, too:) Thanks, for all you've done to keep me motivated and inspired about writing!

@TheHorse *Hugs* Right. There are times when I do something my Dad used to do or would've done.

I know how difficult it is to feel the loss of your beloved daddy . Good that you are creating awareness about lung cancer by wearing a printed T shirt.

That's a nice picture of you. That's great she made the shirt for you. I'm sorry your anxiety is up today. I understand why it is. Take some me-time today. I'm glad you're spending it with your mom.

Thank you so much. It wasn't as bad then, but it was bothering me throughout the week leading up to it. But it was kind of a week-long ordeal. And thank you again!
