When the bread is stale

I found out that the bread that I bought 2 days ago is getting stale. It becomes so dry and hard. I don't think we will like to eat it.
It's a delicious whole wheat bread, though. It has some seeds in it which I love.
Now I don't know what should I do with the bread. I don't like to throw away food.
Do you have ideas?

You can toast it, pound using mortar and pestle to make bread crumbs to use for breading food like fried chicken. Bread crumbs could also be used as meat extender for recipes like meatloaf. So many things you can do with it.

You don't have to throw food you give to your neighbour who may need it.

I'm not sure anyone will accept the stale bread.

Yes there are many ways of reusing stale bread. I think it's good for pudding.

@Miss_Leafy maybe mom wants to avoid early expires. You know, when food exposed to air, they tend to expire fast. That's what I heard.

I let the bread dry, and I will give it to the doves when I go to the park in a day or two.

We toast the bread after 2 days. But to prolong the life of bread, we keep it in the fridge. It can last for more than a week.

@Miss_Leafy we always do that because there are only 3 of us at home and a loaf would last for 3 to 5 days. If we leave the bread on the table it can go stale after 3 days.
