I couldn't help it, this just seemed so cool to me. I really wish I could take Ally to a beach to see what she would do. She likes water but I don't know if she'd be up to swimming in the ocean. As for the photo on this discussion, I simply thought it was funny so please don't be offended.
Dolphin playing catch me if you can with a Golden Retriever. I have seen this happen once before and it is not hard to see just how much fun they are having....

Great sign!!!! My dog loved the ocean. You could take Ally to a lake, a pond, or a stream if one is nearby.

The closest would be the Rio Grande but anymore it would be way too dangerous for her as the banks are much too high for her to climb when wet. The next best place would be Elephant Butte but that's over 200 miles from here.

Awww, that's almost sweet but kinda scary too @sallypup I hope it doesn't hamper your husband. Maybe a trip to the vet would be in order, dogs can get dementia just like people can.
