Cormorants. unbelievable eyes!

I got a close up shot of a cormorant. I can not believe the gorgeous color of their eyes! I wish my eyes were this beautiful aquamarine color. These are very interesting birds. They can dive below the water and actually swim very fast. I read that their feet are actually set further back under their body so that they are not good at walking, they are not balance to do that. they spend their time flying or swimming. you will often see them standing on something in the water where they will spread their wings wide to let them dry off. This photo is taken by me with my Nikon Coolpix P1000, it has an awesome zoom lens. Please do not copy or use photo.

yes, I liken it to an aquamarine.. it's so pretty and such a beautiful color you often don't see any animal with eyes like this.
