A 44 year old woman is thankful that a stranger who was at the 15th Street subway station in Philadelphia jumped off of the subway platform to save the woman from being hit by a subway before it arrived. After the stranger managed to get the woman who carrying her groceries at the subway station, a group of strangers managed to get both of them from the train tracks to the platform safely. The woman was taken to Jefferson University Hospital where she was treated for her injuries and released. What I think happened was that the woman either was disoriented walking near the yellow line which is the barrier that separates the platform from the tracks below since I doubt that she wanted to end her life. I could be wrong though.

@Deepizzaguy That was so nice that the person saved the woman from being hit by a subway. I hope she is ok and that the one that saved her is ok too.

@Deepizzaguy I always stay away even from the border of the yellow line. We have here a few young people who stop people from crossing to ge in first. I stay near them to be helped.

If she just bought groceries I'm thinking she didn't mean to fall there. It could be she was so thinking about supper or that the groceries bought obliterated her from seeing where she was going

It could be that she had a brain cramp.

We don't know the reason and we couldn't surmise to say that. Nobody wants to die especially a woman with a groceries in hand.

Wow, talk about being in the right place at the right time. It's nice to hear about good samaritans making the news for a change. I've been in subways before. They can be dangerous and scary. You really have to pay attention to where you are at all times.

You are correct since getting too close to a platform and falling down into the train tracks is dangerous.
