Pointless Arguments Are Like The Song That Never Ends ...

I'm going to say this. Even though I know that it won't put an end to pointless arguments.
Pointless argument No.1:
Black Lives Matter! Why can't you say it?
No I won't say it. All Lives Matter.
Pointless argument No.2:
The founding fathers talk about all men being equal but they owned slaves. They were hypocrites!
(Huge sigh.) OK. Here I go.
“ALL Lives Matter” and “ALL Men Are Created Equal”.
The founding fathers are dead and gone. They're history now! Even if they didn't walk the walk; they talked the talk!
Humans may be imperfect. But those two statements are FLAWLESS!
“ALL Lives Matter” and “ALL Men Are Created Equal”.
These words are ABSOLUTELY PERFECT and UNDENIABLY TRUE.
ALL means EVERYBODY!!
Not everybody who is black. Not everybody who is white. Not everybody who is LGBTQ. Not everybody who is Native American, Asian, Jewish, Muslim, young, old, etc.
EVERYBODY is EVERYBODY!!
“ALL Lives Matter” and “ALL Men Are Created Equal”.
Worth fighting for! Worth DEMANDING!!
It's not about politics. It's about OUR HUMANITY!
Just cause some humans got it WRONG don't mean other humans can't make it RIGHT!
**
Alright I'm done. Now whoever you are, you can go back to your pointless arguments. Wasting your breath! Arguing about the wrong things never accomplished anything. It's just a way of keeping people divided and disoriented.
***
Other than this, I'm having a great day and looking forward to the 4th of July! Got any plans for your weekend?

@QuantumJoy American politics are odd, aren't they? When Black Lives Matter became a "meme" here, a woman on the East Coast--I believe she was a professor--had to apologize for saying "All Lives Matter."

@JudyEv Well, they didn't get the vote (everywhere) until 1920 in the US. Hey, doesn't that make this year an anniversary of sorts? And women are STILL more vulnerable to shoe commercials than men (I know because I've looked in their closets while they were in the WC). So women are still fighting for "equality."

I wholly agree with you. And we cannot go back in History by destroying. We can go forward by holding hands.

@TheHorse Of course. Even our bad deeds can help us be better. As individuals and as a community. We need our memory.

And since they ALL matter we don't need specialized treatment for separate groups that just keep us thinking separately.

You are in good company - trying to reason with the unreasonable.
If if it were not so serious, it would be laughable.
To quote an older source, 'I perceive that God is not partial, but in EVERY nation,. the one who fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to Him'
'God made out of one man, EVERY nation of men,.....'
Since we are all of the same human race, all lives matter, as you said.

I never understood why people feel the need to say all lives matter compared to black lives matter. For one they have point the reasonable ones do and two that's the whole point if all lives matter then why are black lives not included? Until then, pretty sure that saying or group is not going away until they feel like that they are part of the all lives matter group.
