Why do you use social media? / myLot

I googled the answer to this question a few days ago, curious why people use social media. Number 1 on the list is news. I never expected that people would use social media for news.Most fake news appear on Facebook and other online networks... Some simpy use them for shopping, job hunting and friendship. What about you? Why do you use social media?

Hehe... i agree with you.. many news are fake in social media. In my opinion social media is used in order they dont want to be left behind by the age. But i rather sad some people use it only to ask attention to the people by something which is viral. Making bad issue, give bad influence to young generation. I myself using it to have interaction with my friend

I check on facebook if thre's personal message from relatives. Sometimes in the FB groups.

I use Internet for news but I surely not social media. I read International newspapers online. I do not use the social media anymore.

@Janet357 no, it's just for sending photos or posting stories that are visible for 24 hours only. and there are some interesting channels you can subscribe to. i like it more than instagram.

I used social media for job hunting purposes only. I don't have time for chit chatting there and looking someone's profile.,like people used to do as their time pass.
