Mylotters, do you follow those who follow you?

Well, I do I tried to follow each person following me so that I can see their discussions also and respond to it whenever I have time. That way, I can see a lot of discussion and respond to those that interests me. I also follow those who responds to my discussions even if they don't follow me first

I only follow those people who, for good reasons, I want to follow - mostly because their discussions and responses interest me. I do NOT follow people simply because they follow me. There is absolutely no advantage in having a large number of followers (or in following people willy-nilly) here. It may be of value in Facebook, Twitter, YouTube or whatever but it cuts no ice here. I found long ago that most of the people who follow me tend to be new users who haven't a clue what following means here and are very unlikely to look at my discussions, much less respond to them. From time to time I try to clear out my 'followers' list, especially if I want to use the 'Suggest' button occasionally. It's a bit tedious but you can stop someone following you by going to their profile, blocking them, refreshing the page and then unblocking them. As this has to be done one by one and I have something like 1,400 'followers', it's not something I do very often!

I follow people who frequent my discussions and usually answer with a comment instead of just a "like" all the time. And I also follow people who post discussions which interest me and a can provide a response to...

I don't follow.anyone because i respond to most discussions so there is no point in following anyone here. I see all their discussions.

At first, I thought that I can only see the discussions of those people I follow but it's not. And I think it's a good thing.

not all. i comment on those who comment on my discussions though not necessarily my followers or who i follow. there are many who i interact with but we do not follow each other, and i think that is good for me.
