Yesterday was a day of celebration for our Independence Day. I have a lot to be thankful for.
I'm thankful for the freedoms I have under the Constitution of the United States of America and the privilege to serve in the Navy during the Vietnam War.
I'm thankful I live in a country where I can express my thoughts and opinions.
I'm thankful I can worship God.
I'm thankful for the food on my table, a roof over my head, and a bed to sleep in.
I'm thankful for a car to get me where I need to go, and yesterday it was the store to get needed supplies.
I'm thankful I have a bathroom sink that drains now.
I'm thankful for the fruit salad I made yesterday that will last a few days.
I'm thankful for the movies I watched celebrating the Fourth of July - Yankee Doodle Dandy and Independence Day. I didn't have time to watch Independence Day 2. I'll watch it today.
I'm thankful there are still two weeks to take off the weight I gained yesterday from all the good food I ate.
It was a good day for food and fitness as well.

I'm thankful that I was able to fall asleep last night despite the fact that WWIII was going on outside with all the fireworks. I'm also thankful that I woke up this morning without 10 pounds of weight gain from all the BBQ I ate yesterday!

@just4him Since I've lost so much weight by eating healthier, plus going running every day now, my metabolism has kicked back into high gear again, which is nice.

@just4him So far I have not gained as much as I figured I would. Had I worked out 2+ hours every day then I may have not gained as much...but it is what it is. I am sure by next Friday I will lose most of the water weight. I did a week cheat before and got to a new low by the end of the next week.
And no problem!
