I don't what the purpose of the article from a nutrition magazine I have read. All good foods or healthy foods are listed down but it pointed out all the possibilities of making those healthy foods not good for one's health. Like the vegetables and fruits are good sources of nutrition but they become nutritious empty when mixed with other foods enhancer. Putting some salad dressings the vegetables become less nutritive. The fruit juices become nutritious empty when added lots of sugar to enhance their taste. It's actually beneficial for us to know.

Foods only become unhealthy when adulterated by all those unhealthy food enhancer. They only please the tastebuds but detrimental to health in the long run if one keeps consuming restaurant styles foods.

I see your point about tampering with the natural state of good nutritious food and they become deplete of their naturalness and nutrients. Additives, preservatives, for shelf-life, sugar enhancers just not right, in my opinion. Thank you.

You're right. Those items you mentioned are lessening if not depriving the nutritive value of the healthy foods.
