Earlier today, I had a conversation with my mother. It wasn't that serious talk but it's about important matter. It was regarding the enrollment for the school year 2020-2021. She asked me if I wanted to enroll, knowing that there's no traditional learning or face to face discussion. I don't really think I will learn something from it, that we are just going to waste our money, money that we could just spend on our daily expense. However, I don't want to miss the whole semester either, because that would mean I'll graduate later than expected. We haven't really decided anything yet. Still too early to tell. I just hope that there will be available vaccine or cure, the soonest the possible. I don't see thing ending anytime soon, not at least without a cure. Or, if government could just stop the classes for at least half a year. Without using the alternative classes, which is through online. Because not everyone has the privilege for the new learning modalities like that. I don't get why they keep pushing with this online class when they can postpone the opening classes for the new school year.

That's right. I just worry that we're just gonna waste our money, especially that we're not rich.

Yes, I agree. I also feel uncomfortable with online classes. Moreover, the lessons taught are about technique and that there must be practice. However, if the class is done online and I just get a theory, I'm not sure I can practice it. By the way, I'm majoring in fashion where I have to make clothes and it's not easy if it's only explained in theory.

I feel like it'll be more on compliance than learning. Like the last time we did on the rest of our previous semester. I took business course and although it's more on discussing, it is still ineffective, especially for slow learners. Most of all, I worry to those courses than requires practice like medtech etc.

we had online classes, but our exams were face to face. some subjects were okay, some were not. on other departments, professors used to post some presentations with explanation of lectures, so it was easy to learn. and what if you graduate later than expected? it's not the end of the world.

Unfortunately it happens with current students like mine too. Seems like the university won't do face to face learning for now. But let's wait and see.
