Driving My Kitty Crazy!

My cat is nuts because she can't get into the little cooler to get the water out. LOL, she is like a furry boomerang. I take her off the table, she gets back up, I take her off, she gets back up. Over and over again. I finally removed the cooler, for now.
What's funny is that I had two of these little coolers set up for a couple of weeks before Gretchen even noticed. But now if she sees one, she can't think of anything else. I'm sending for a big one she can't tip over.
What drives your pets crazy?

@DianneN I understand. My daughter and her hubby lost all three of their pets this past year, all three the same year. Two dogs and a kitty. Kitty was old, it was time to go, but the dogs got sick, the first with some rare disease and the other just had to be put to sleep, he had cancer and began to bleed internally. I don't know if they will get another pet, something tells me they will but maybe not soon. Right now, they have a few seahorses.
I feel so badly for you. I'm already worried about what will happen to me if I lose Gretchen. She is only 3, and I feel like she might outlive me though. I'm almost 70.

I'm so sorry about Doodles. It's so hard to lose our animal friends. They love us so unconditionally. When I adopted Gretchen, she had just been treated for alopecia and her belly was bald. She had short hair and bare spots and she was so skinny. I got her good grain-free food and of course gave her lots of love, and now her hair's grown long and her little rat tail she had is all feathery and pretty. Where her tummy was bald, a lot of white hair grew in, so funny how that worked. I'm sure they can't afford different diets for all the cats at the shelter and it was the food she had been reacting to.
Do you think you'll get another kitty?

@CinnamonGrl Aww, that's great to hear. I'm so glad you rescued her and gave her a loving home.
Doodles was adopted, too. No, we are not getting anymore pets. We can't take the heartbreak anymore. I am still grieving the loss of Doodles and it's over 8 months now. He left a giant hole in my heart that can't be filled.

Pets are so persistent and single minded when they're trying to accomplish something, too.

My cat hates when she is up on my lap for her pets and I have to get up for some reason and she hates it.

Oh yeh. Kitties are great at ignoring us when they want to, but then when they want us, they expect us to remain captive lol

My dog is big, lazy and spoiled. She's learned to come and cry at me when she wants something, but a lot of the time it takes me a while to figure out what (is it time for your walk? You need to wait a minute. Is your water bowl empty? Do you just want a treat? You get enough of those...)
