CBD Oils

United States
July 8, 2020 9:21am CST
We use CBD oils for everything from pain to anxiety. I use the one without THC since I work in education. I have a question for anyone who uses this oil. The way to take it is to place 10 drops under the tongue and then wait 30 seconds before swallowing...Seriously? Is that even possible? I never make ti 30 seconds before I swallow and wonder if there is a trick to it.

What does CBD mean?

CBD stands for "cannabidiol", and it is one of the numerous phytocannabinoids. CBD occurs in other plants too, but most abundantly in cannabis.

I bought me some of that online and it said to put a dropper full into a drink, like water ice tea etc. I did and all of a sudden I felt like I was high. Never touched that crap again

You must have gotten the stuff with THC, the one I have doesn't have that in it.

@gr8nana6 Hmmm, that's strange. What brand name? Because of all the different ones I have seen, none say anything about putting it in water.

@Carmelanirel2 No it says on the bottle "0 % THC" Maybe it was too much, it helped with the pain, but I just didn't like the feeling I got from it.

I tried the CBD oil a couple of times, and by the time 30 seconds rolled around I felt like I was about to drool everywhere.

Exactly, and didn't it feel like the oil escaped to the top of your tongue?

@AmbiePam I did what @myklj999 suggested, with just 2 drops. Still felt like it escaped the bottom of my tongue, but not as bad. This morning I tried 5 drops at a time and that seemed to work just as well, which is good, it will take me less time that using only 2 drops at a time.

Sounds like it is a sort of oil absorbed through mucous membrane. It is said that it contains the cannabidiol. I am here on and off due to the problem logging in lately.

@changjiangzhibin89 I'm sorry, are you able to contact the site and see what is going on?

Hi @changjiangzhibin89 I am so sorry you are having problems signing in. Is it the site or your computer? I have found by taking only half the amount at a time I am able to keep it under my tongue better.

I use it topically too and don't think it works as good as Doterra's Deep Blue.

Maybe, doing it in smaller steps might work if I am not working or have to be somewhere.

I take CBD but in the form of pills, for helping me with the pain, have you tried them?
