Was out photographing a few Rose of Sharon blooms yesterday in the front yard.
Kept noticing a male and female robin closeby. They were talking to me non stop. As if to warn me of something. We call these birds robin red breast. See the orange on their breast in the photo above?
So I kept my eyes open and there it was. A robin nest of two eggs. These robin eggs are a gorgeous blue. Nestled in the middle of one of the Rose of Sharon bushes. A safe place for a nest hopefully.
This nest is in my front yard. So now, I will be busy going back and forth checking on this nest as well as the bluebirds of happiness in the backyard.
Wow, everything at once it seems. Such an exciting time once again in my yard.
Fingers crossed for both nests to be successful and safe from predators.

How in the world do you get so many birds to nest in your yard? That's amazing! I'm going to call you the bird whisperer.
