Are you what you wanted to be as kid?

As a kid my mom always told me when you grow up you will be a policewoman. I would repeat this to all the person who’d ask “what do you wanna be when you grow up”
In reality as I grew up I wanted to be a lawyer then change my mind and wanted to be an artist but gave up cause my teacher says my drawings are childish.
I end up being a salesgirl. Now I’m a housewife. It’s the best job ever offered to me.
And what about you? Are you what you planned to be as a kid?

i always wanted different kind of jobs - teacher, social worker, singer, actor, doctor (which was the option my whole family liked the most) and in the end i was confused, didn't know what i want. now i'm in college, in behavioral disorders department and i'm happy with my decision.

It may seem weard but I have never knew how to respond to this question when I was a kid, maybe because I have nothing in mind, but I answered a doctor or teacher just to answer, but never meant it. I worked as personal assistant before having m'y second child and now I am a housewife and at the same Time doing some freelance jobs like translation ...

When I was a small kid I realized the importance of money. Then I got a job offer few years back from a company that used to work with banks. Suddenly I realized that this is the perfect industry for me to work in.

I love this post. It amused me. My mom wanted me to be a teacher. I hated that profession. And so I studied Mass Communication because I wanted to be a radio announcer. After I graduated from college, I worked as a teacher and registration staff for international schools. But then, I did not like the jobs as I wanted to be a writer!And I still do. I left that those companies.
At present, I own a tutoring business and after this pandemic, once everything is back to normal, I will start an ecommerce business.
Isn't ridiculous?

Shut up. This is the coolest so far I hear. Wish you all the best. Keep it up. That’s so inspiring. The only thing I want to be now is a Youtuber lol. I even started making my videos xD hope I get success someday.

Just like many other kids in the world, I wished to be a superman.

When i was at elementary school i want to be english teacher. At junior high school i want to be math teacher. First grade at senior high school i want to be phisic teacher, and now iam math teacher. But honestly my dream now is back child again
