No I don't.... I only name my pets. I don't give material items names, because they are meaningless to me.:)

Yes and only when it is not unique like diskette. But if it is unique, I find no need for a name.

I certainly do. However, I have a quirk of consistently naming my objects 'Steve'. My cars name is Big Steve, my iPod's is Little Steve. I have Steve the 3rd, my kettle, and my Straghtener's name is Steveina. My Laptops name is Lappy, he's the only one that wasn't christened as a Steve. I don't know, I think naming things is awesome, even though others get a little freaked out when I say 'Oh hang on a second, Little Steve just slid down my pants leg, I gotta fish him out.' Lol.

i name my pet. it's suach a lovely cuty cat, i name it printil. sound weird maybe, but i like it
