Woke Up To Thunderstorms

Sure was hard to get out of bed today. Thunderstorms and heavy rain since early this morning.
I love the sound of rain, especially when the rain is needed.
Snapped this photo from my deck. Looks like the rain is here to stay awhile. Works for me and the garden.
The bluebirds will be safe in the backyard house. The robins will keep the eggs safe in the front yard.
And the rain will soak into the grass and help with the blooms. A good day here.

When the rain is out and I do not have to go anywhere I would prefer to lay in bed and see if can get some sleep unless it is time to get up then do something else. I am glad the bluebirds were safe in the backyard house. Sounds like he rain helped a lot of things.

We had several deluges Friday and Saturday; so we're set on rain for right now. Have a great day in your backyard! (If it stops raining) :-)
