I just had a banana and it did fill in the empty spot, now I can concentrate on doing something instead of thinking about food.
So, I will just be here for a short while to read some posts and answer to them, after that, I will be going outside for a while (I hope) and try to get rid of some nasty weeds.
How can the grass does not grow right now because of a lack of rain, but the weeds are growing by the hour? Anyone has an answer for this?

I love bananas, too:) Yes, I do have an answer for this question, it's possibly correct. Weeds have very deep root systems, they can reach water deep down beneath the ground, your plants can't access.

@marlina My grandma told me this, when we use to pull weeks out. The root system was very deep!

I like bananas but I very seldom have them--not good for a diet.

I thought if it is very dry the weeds will grow and the grass will hide underneath the weeds. If I am wrong then do not have an answer for you. I am glad the banana helped you. I also like bananas. I just do not see them much in the grocery store or they do not look good.

Weeds are extremely hardy and can adapt to severe conditions.

I love most fruit, and bananas, after they have gotten too ripe I bake my son's favorite, banana bread.
As for the weeds, I don't know, but it isn't fair, is it?

Because it's a weed, it doesn't need special conditions to grow and be beautiful ... while the grass has to be beautiful ... it just catches our eye
