So Good To Have Mylot

There are times I am sure there are people who just wish they had a place like mylot. Some are so lonely and the stay at home orders are no helping. I remember years ago when I was a kid all we had was the grand old Opry on Sunday nights. With internet, and streaming I guess I wonder how can they be bored, or lonely. My friend has a daughter who went to the town I use to work in, and they are still not wearing masks. So, at that I will practice shelter in place from now on. But thankful for mylot.

Yeah, I know but actually it's better that way. I had to quit my job, she had too much company. Wouldn't wear masks.

We sit out in yard and visit. I guess we are just more bored than most.

@Writingghost We live so far in the woods, we have no neighbors. So it's really quiet here. But I guess I haven't been use to being home since I had to quit my job.

Yes it does and one can stay as long as they like. Until they feel better.

Well, being here in the woods I am afraid to venture out too far..I lived here 40 years first time I haven't worked. But its quiet.

You are right and I think so. I think there are a lot of lonely people, but also, for many, this is a kind of income

I am happy that we have a site like myLot. It is a great way to way to talk to people from around the world, and I always enjoy the time I spend here. When we can't leave our homes much and can't meet in person we have to find other ways to interact.

It has gotten me through some tough times. One time I was so mad at my client, I got on mylot and read the funniest post I ever heard. It was so good.

We are not told to stay home anymore , we are essential workers, so I am out and about all the time

I was too, but my client wanted company more than she wanted to protect herself and me wouldn't follow guidelines.

Yeah it really makes a big difference. I use to have to rush and get on and off, but now it's a pleasure.

I am done with shelter in place. I will be as careful as I can and respectful of others, but I have to live again.

Yeah, I text family and they text and call, this takes some getting use to. But it's for our safety.

Because they feel like the government is taking their freedom away from them. They say its their constitutional right not to wear a mask.
