My lunch in the mall

I had t-bone steak for my lunch in the food court of the mall. The table can seat 6 but only 2 of us are allowed. My wife is on the other side and other end of the table. The distancing is okay since the next table is about 3 feet away. That mall seems to be strict in the protocols against the virus.

@RubyHawk it is good to be scared to go out. That is the safest.

The area seems to be deserted that I saw less than 20 diners only.

@Alexandoy I’m glad for you and your wife. I’m not brave enough to go out to eat.

@just4him they want to keep the prices down so they just cheat with the quantity instead of raising the price.

@Alexandoy That's a shame it was. I like them thick and juicy and on the rare side.

It should have been for a king but what I got was a lunch for the pauper... the steak was so thin like cardboard.

@Alexandoy I wonder why the steak was so thin?

@marlina that is the trick of business here. Lessen the quantity or amount instead of raising the price.

From the picture it looks very empty there and that you had the whole place to yourself. I hope you enjoyed your meal. What did your wife have?

My wife had the same t-bone steak that was sliced very thinly like a cardboard. the place can usually accommodate more than 300 diners but now less than 100 chairs only. There were less than 20 diners when we were there.

@Hannihar yes, from the looks of the setup I don't think the eateries can earn a profit.

I am sure they are losing business because of this virus and have to comply by the rules put upon them.

@LadyDuck yes, it is really good but the slice was so thin that I joked if there was an electric fan it could fly with the wind, waheehee. That stall was Sizzling Plate, a good one since a long time ago.

The food court that can accommodate more than 300 people has only less than 20 diners. Don't mind the steak, the slice was so thin that an electric fan can sweep it away from the plate.

@moffittjc yes, the steak was good. That restaurant is popular for a long time now. Instead of raising the price they just reduce the quantity.
