Pay it Forward

It is commonly frowned upon in the Philippines if one lacks the sense of "utang na loob". This "utang na loob" is essentially a "pay back". Pay forward maybe a better social norm to help a Society move away from some of its traditions that holding it back.

I agree with you. I like it when someone is showing "utang na loob" than being ungrateful.

It's one of those values besides love itself why the Filipino family is closely knit and why we take care of our parents and elderly relatives to the end.
