Do you have a favorite scent you enjoy in your home?

Some find using scented candles or using essential oils in their home makes for a more pleasant atmosphere.
While this might be true, we are cautioned that some products are not the best for us to be inhaling on a regular basis.
We enjoy lemon and lemon grass essential oils which we add to a small aromatherapy unit we have.
Vanilla is another scent we enjoy as it gives the illusion someone is baking something wonderful. Yes, a few have been disappointed over the years to learn they were entering an area filled with vanilla extract and not cookies or muffins.
Do you have a favorite scent you enjoy in your home?

The natural oils are the best, aren't they? These days we have so many choices @DianneN we can change with the seasons.

Some people make their own scents by simmering fruit peels. For us, it is just easier to use our aromatherapy unit @Letranknight2015

Apple pie scent is a very nice choice. It is another one that fools us into thinking there is something wonderful happening in the kitchen!

I don't have a constant smell we use in my house, but sometimes I like to spray some cotton candy spray and it relaxes me and I also enjoy things like a eucalyptus mint, so nice!

It is refreshing to have a nice scent in the home, especially in the evening here. It seems to calm everyone as we say goodbye to the day @DesirousDreamer

I like the smell of frankincense, they say it drives away evil spirits and negativity I burn some from time to time only because I like the scent.

We have used Frankincense topically for various reasons and it is claimed to be a healer, especially when mixed with Myrrh @louievill

@PatZAnthony They are our favorite.
I also like to wear body spray in that scent because so many places are scent-free today, and that doesn't really have much of a scent to it.

We switch between the lemongrass and vanilla. Someone we know had a coffee scented candle that was wonderful until we realized there was no coffee and no goodies!

I wonder how they would be mixed together? Might have to experiment.

We are only using essential oils now since all the research about so many things be harmful, especially if you have any lung issues @Hannihar

Thank you for reminding me! I have an office size essential oil diffuser and need new essential oil. May I ask a question? Do you personally order essential oil on-line or from a store?

For us, there are some locally we like but we also get some online through a vitamin company we are connected to. They are all good if you read the info on the package so you are sure what you get is essential oil @Spontaneo

We really prefer essential oils in our aromatherapy diffuser. Someone here might bump a candle and you know who would have to clean up that mess @CarolDM

Yes, I love pine scent (not pine sol but like the tree) and lilac, the flower, not a candle, because so far no candle has matched the scent of this flower.

Apple cinnamon seems to be popular. It does give a very nice scent when the candles are working @jstory07

I have some scented candles but have not lit them in a while. I have a perfume called Green Tea by Elizabeth Arden which was a gift from my late husband and I brought with me from Latvia so when I feel I want to feel closer to him I spritz on that perfume.
