It depends on where you how people are deal with it. It’s not airborne persay. It’s droplets from us humans the host spread it. When we cough or sneeze. Making it very easy for someone to pick up. Witch is way wearing a mask helps keep droplet from getting on everything. Also cleaning common areas often.

This is what i do: Keep a distance, at least 1.5 meters, wear a mask, do not touch your face with your hands and often wash your hands with soap for at least 20 seconds Do not use disinfectant gel on your hands that will kill the good bacteria use soap as often as you like

@teguhrp Indeed, it is not 100% safe, but every little bit helps to be safe

NOpe not true unless proven by scientist. IF it is then every one should wear PPE which is expensive.

Some of scientist in japan said that
Hundreds of scientists say there is evidence that novel coronavirus in smaller particles in the air can infect people and are calling for the World Health Organization to revise recommendations.

Welcome to myLot. I already knew it was airborne, our Medical Authorities warned us back in March and asked to wear masks.

@teguhrp What do you mean by different protocol? We are no more in lockdown, we must wear masks when we go inside the stores, masks are not mandatory (but suggested) outdoors, we have to keep social distancing.

I think the health protocol that Indonesia has set in dealing with the Corona virus pandemic is already good. Only the problem is not easy to regulate the order of life of more than 200 million people throughout the country. There are still many who violate the corona outbreak so difficult to overcome.

Maslow hierarchy of needs
@babale Im sorry but i dont think so, according to maslow hierarchy of needs, the basic need of human are phsycological need follow by safety needs which represents of safe from the virus. The goverment policy not yet covered all of people to counter theses basic needs. Thats how people are still keep on doing activities as usual without paying attention to the protocol anymore to look for income used to buy food.

@emnuhpe yes but i think it could be more defenses provided such as eyeglasses or face shield and maybe install air purifier in an indoor room

I doubt it would help, in fact that the virus remain active in the air several minutes. Furthermore it can contagious through the eye hmm
