Ok my mylot friends I have a question for you when you make brownies it can be boxed or homemade do you prefer them with frosting or without? I like mine without and my boyfriend likes them with. What is preference.

There are amazing brownies from an awesome local bakery that have a sugared bottom and chocolate frosting on the top. They are TO DIE FOR. When I make them myself I don't frost them. Check out Bravetart's glossy fudge brownie recipe on Serious Eats. One of the best recipes I've ever made.

Without. I don't think we've ever made them and put frosting on them. I'll eat them with frosting if I get them premade, but that's about the only time.

I have never eaten them with frosting on top, but now that you mention it, maybe I need to try them that way!

I prefer brownies without frosting, only because I don't have much of a sweet tooth.

@Tina30219 The cupcakes they sell here have about an inch of frosting/icing on the top but that's way too much even for me.

I love it with frosting but lightly frosted. Everyone else makes sure the entire jar of frosting is uses but I only use about half and spread it out thin.
