Feast or Famine the Saying Goes

My Dad and Grandmother always had old wise sayings. I remember most. This one... feast or famine I really understand.
Many days lately there is not much going on. Then when things happen, it seems like they happen all at one time. Feast or famine.
Lately a few things are going on I need to take care of. I may be a little behind responding. But I will eventually catch up. That is how life goes it seems.
In the meantime I leave you with a sunset from days gone by. View from my deck. Not many visible sunsets lately due to all the rain.

I 100% agree with you, as I seem to experience this quite often. Feast or famine. Either nothing is going on, or everything is going on. It seems there is no middle ground. And another saying that often goes hand in hand with feast or famine is, "when it rains it pours." Seems lately it's been doing a lot of pouring in my life, figuratively speaking. I'm also behind here on myLot because of everything I've been dealing with lately.

@CarolDM I'm spending a lot less time here. It was getting to be too much -- 6-8 hours a day and sometimes more.

That's life. I remember when I was a kid, foods are many when there's an occasion. And we starve in an ordinary days.
