As posted by me earlier, we are in complete lockdown today. There is hardly any car or passer by seen on the road. All shops including essential item retailers. All government and private offices are closed except for those in essential services like medicine, banks etc. I was in my flat the whole day except for the morning to get milk from the milk vendor. There too there was no body except for that vendor who was on his way home. I am now sitting in my store / office with front gates closed. I sneaked in through back door. I came down because our overhead water tank was empty and pump had to be started to refill it. I will be sitting here for about an hour and go back after closing the pump. People have shown good response to government call of lockdown. It will definitely help get the virus infection in control.

Absolutely! And it’s good to be more cautious than the governments in general, because they have economic reasons for wanting to lift restrictions

@Calebxy Yes I have learnt that our state also in a very bad shape economically. That is the reason they partly lifted ban on hotels and restaurants despite growing cases.

@Calebxy It is nature of majority of the people to look for their comfort without bothering to look at their responsibilities.

It’s a shame that people don’t take it upon themselves to just do the right thing

at my place there was no lockdown. I don't know the exact reason, but I think the country is afraid that the economy will decline as a result it can cause panic everywhere

@Calebxy Yes they do and most of our trouble is due to government decision to lift the ban on border entry. We were clear of this infection before then.

It’s a shame that the governments tend to put economic interests ahead of human lives

@DianneN You are right. Our authorities have missed the opportunity to control it by underestimating it and overestimating our medical capacity.

If people don't wear mask or maintain social distance after every lockdown the Covid will resurface again.

That’s really interesting. Where I live, it was just like that at the start of the lockdown. But then gradually, the streets started getting busier and busier again, even though the lockdown hadn’t changed. I think it’s really just because people were getting bored of it :/
