Man Fakes Pregnancy

This artical was in todays newspaper 30th November 2006
A young Souty African man was fined by a local court for taking time off from work
and trying to cover it with a fake gynacologist's certificate attesting he
was pregnant and needed a week off.
A magistrates court in Vereeniging,near Johannesburg,fined 27 year old Charles Sibindana $180 for brazen forgery.
Sibindana stole the certificate from a health care centre used by his pregnant girlfriend,but was unaware that only women consulted gynacologist's

Yes it was i agree and i get really annoyed with people who fake illness to get off work, but you have to laugh

As someone said, give the guy a "Dumbest Guy" award!
Of course, one need not be surprised by anything. You might have seen Schwarzenegger's film in which he becomes pregnant? May be this guy saw a part of the film?!

Well, maybe this is True. Some Men from other countries may not be educated enough to understand that a Dr. such as a Gynecologist is for women only, and maybe he thought his Employer would never see this as something other than what it was not.

I can believe but since its on a newspaper, I have to. Can there be people who dont know this. Or may be he doesnt understood what's written on the certificate. This is hilarious. I feel sorry for him. True he did a illegal thing by using the girlfriends medical certificate. But dont you feel for his lack or knowledge?

I know what you mean i think it was sad that he was fined as the was just so stupid and i think if it was in the papers in his town that would be enough punishment

Wow.... what an idiot. Seriously, that is a really dumb thing to do. Was he illiterate? Did he not realize that it said pregnant? That might explain it. The lengths some people will go to get off of work.

there is dumb and dumber and this bloke is both all wrapped up in one package. no matter how uneducation he is he certainly knew how to write out a certificate for taking time off from work. I think the judge was way too lenient on the idiot actually because that isn't enough of a fine. He should have been sent to jail as a lesson to him and anyone else who might try the same thing. He was cheating, or trying to, his employers and if he had chosen anything else he might have gotten away with the crime and the money too.
