Thankful in this time of our life...

I have to say, the pandemic has made me realize a lot of things. But one word always remains true to this very day for me, thankful. I am thankful for every little thing. Such confusing times yet I choose to be thankful. So much has been given to us but we sometimes take it for granted.
May we take some time today to maybe thank somebody for being there for us. May it be mentally, spiritually or just asking us on how we are doing. Let us be thankful for them. It doesn’t hurt to let them know we appreciate them. Same goes to anything else we are thankful for, we can maybe show them in another way for as long as the sincerity of appreciation is there.

I agree with you. As the saying goes ‘everything happens for a reason’. We should always take experiences as a lesson may it be good or bad.

@amitkokiladitya well we can only do our part in our own homes. Just staying home is enough to contribute to a world that is facing a very terrible time.

I think for me this pandemic has taught me to save more and invest on things that are useful in the long run. Savings may deplete st some point but it sure helped having extra in times of need. Also, investing on things that surely can be used at times like these are so helpful. I have kept so many things and finally I got to use them at this season of my life.

The first thing it taught me was that we honestly need to be ready for any kind of disaster. An earthquake, a fire, a tsunami, a war, anything. We can’t wait until it starts to get ready for it, because then that will be too late

Yes this pandemic and this lockdown period also helped them look at our abilities and made us realized many things like we can stay alive even without fast food

@sublime03 In some ways it did, but I think it’s also brought to the fore many awful things about people as well

That’s a good attitude to have. If we focus on the negatives in life, we can deprive ourselves of the energy we need to actually act and do things that will benefit us. So by staying positive, we keep ourselves energised and able to act as necessary

To be honest, we all need that positivity to get thru our new norm. Not everybody can deal with the staying home or the working deom home option, We all need somethinv to grasp on and I think being positive really helps.

@sublime03 Exactly. Sometimes your attitude is really the thing that makes all the difference
