My son and I are a lot alike in many ways, one of those ways is our likes in music. SO today when we went to move the chairs for mom we used his jeep since it has a little more room then mine.
When we got in the car country music came on and I was like what the hell is that. He changed the station to rock station and I started to laugh at him and mock him. "Oh I will never listen to country music" haha . He said his girlfriend turned it on. I laughed, "who's car is this? I know you had shorts on yesterday, was she wearing pants"? haha ."didn't you teach her by now that she is never to touch the radio"?
After a few minutes of me giving him crap about it he was like, "yeah don't don't make me throw you out of the car"
We laughed pretty hard about it all. It's really nice of him to let her listen to that crap but I feel sorry for him.

Hey now, I'm a huge country music fan! Although classic rock is probably still my favorite genre.

@moffittjc Oh, I don't even know about anything that has come out in the last 10 years maybe even more. I just listen to all the old good music.

A lot of people don't like country, I can deal with it more than this stuff they call rap.

@Bensen32 For me its rap. I use to work in a store from 11pm. 7am. They would drive upon the parking lot, and the ground would vibrate I hated that. I asked fo you have older people st home they would say yes, I told them never let them ride with you.

I don't like Country and Western Music! Ann Murray, Dolly Parton, Olivia Newton John, some of their music I like. Buck Owens needs kleenex inside his mouth!

That is totally true, every person has their own preferences in some ways. They can't questions as to why the other persona has such tastes.

the things you do for love , obviously your son cares for this girl alot and enough to allow her to touch things that belong to him, its great that you and your son get along and like the same music but dont think for a moment that his taste in music and other things wont change when your son has another woman in his life besides you.
My mother when she was alive , i loved her dearly , however i will tell you that there were some things that changed when i met my now wife , that my mom just had to get use to and one of those things was that she wasnt from the same country as me and my family but believe me my mom loved her just the same as if she was.

Well first let's be clear, I'm not a woman LOL.
they been together for almost 5 years I think if his taste in music was going to change it might have already. I think he might have just been nice and let her listen to her music which of course I have no problem with. I was just giving him a hard time because it was funny.

Sometimes I like, sometimes I don't. Depends on music and mood
