I just call to say i love you I discovered a way to practice my Spanish and it is some songs played on YouTube but with words in Spanish over the pictures. It is a lot easier that way than when I was learning English and buying "The Hit Parade" magazine and practicing my English by listening to the song on my record player and following the printed words. A fun way to learn a new language.

I did the same to learn English, I listened to the songs of the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. I still remember the lyrics of most of them.

This reminds me of the song of Voltes V, a Japanese cartoon in the 1980s. Kids here knows the full song but they do not know the meaning.

Oh, yes! When I was studying English (well, to be honest you never stop learning a language! :-D ), I used to listen to songs in English, (Beatles, Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, George Michael...) and it really helped me with vocabulary and sentences structure. Now that I teach Spanish online, I still recommend it, as you just listen, learn and memorize the lyrics, and then all those words will live in your brain... forever! (And, by the way... I love Stevie Wonder!!)

@marlina Hahaa, Duran Duran don't sound to me now the way they used in the past! Too noisy although they still have some nice songs, I must say :-)

That sounds like a great way to help learn another language. I took Spanish for a couple of years in high school. I found it easier to learn then I did French. You are French, are you finding Spanish easy to learn as a result of being fluent in French?
