How have people changed during your lifetime?

People often make comments about children being better behaved in the past. I was wondering how you feel about how people in general (or maybe children in particular) are different now compared to when you were younger. For example, are people more impatient now? Ruder? Nicer? Etc. And it will be interesting to see these changes from all around the world.

Children nowadays are so much different. They are more digitally inclined and less going out to play with neighborhood kids. They spend more time playing computer or using gadgets than playing outdoors. When it comes to their attitude, I think they are more bolder now compared to my generation. Back then kids were more respectful of their elderly unlike now all I see is children answering back to their parents with an attitude. So much has changed and I wish kids were more like my generation where gadgets are non existent.

Thank you, it’s really interesting to hear your perspective. That’s definitely true about technology, I can even see that change myself even though I’m only in my 20s.

@sublime03 Absolutely. And it creates new opportunities for wickedness, like cybercrime and cyber bullying

It is basically - as per me - the generation gap and nothing else. The generation previous is always better than the next generation. It is nothing but psychological thinking
