Hi friends, Today my family members took their lunch in Banana leaf today. Because today is aadi Amavasya. This day is very special day for us, I think all Indians well known about it. Because in this day we give Tharpanam for died persons in our home.
This tradition is every one follow this month coming Amavasya day.
In that day we prepare lot of dishes which our elders like, then after completing tharpanam process, all took our lunch in Banana leaf. In this day we donate vegetables ad rice to others also.
Can I know how any members having experience in eating your food in Banana leaf.

I have eaten in banana leaf many times and I enjoy it.
For us also it's an auspicious day today. We too do tarpan for ancestors.

Love food eaten in banana leaves, it has a different flavor. We can also order different kinds of foods wrapped in banana leaves called " balot" ( wrapped)

Banana leaves are environment friendly, bio degradable and can be used only once.
