Rain Has Arrived ~ All Gone Now

Rain is falling. Yes, my rain dance worked. The only problem is now it has stopped. Before I could even write about it, gone as fast as it started. Oh well. I guess five minutes of rain is better than no rain at all. Still a few clouds, so maybe we will get more. The temperatures are the same. Oh well. I was excited for a few minutes. We are now at 94F, feels like 102F. July is bringing the heat.

That was such a tease. I hope that your rain dance brings some more clouds over head and that they open up slowly and gently drop some rain on your much-needed yard. We had that yesterday and it was so nice. Today we have hot summer weather, but the air is drier and that is so much easier to handle.

I opened the front door this morning and I could not believe how hot it was, so I promptly closed the door and it will stay closed for a long time now,

@marlina It is like opening the oven here. I have to close the cat door so they will stay inside from the screen room. The ceiling fan out there is just blowing hot air.

We had a lot of thunderstorms come through yesterday afternoon. They were back to back with a lot of rain, wind and thunder and lightning. Unfortunately, I didn't feel much of a difference in the weather afterwards.
