Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 85 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. I turned off the air conditioning and opened up the windows. No need to run it when I don't need to.
I slept until about 9 am this morning which was wonderful. I should have gotten up earlier and gone to the gym but it was nice not having to wake up to an alarm. Oh well.
No big plans for the day. I placed an order for groceries so I'm waiting on that. I might go for a jog around the complex. I also want to try to finish up the book that I've been reading.

Grocery store, household chores, crocheting dishcloth(s) for a friend's birthday, possibly reading... Deciding whether I want to watch one of Trump's campaign rallies, I mean taskforce briefings today..

@NJChicaa Yeah that's what I just heard too. He is. Apparently there will be no doctors at the briefings, so what good is it to have them?

I had to yell at the post office (fourth time this year I’ve put my mail on hold and it hasn’t been held). Now I’m enjoying a salad at McAlister’s before I head to the gym.

In between rain showers I am taking short walks either around the neighborhood or at least around my yard. I brought in more tomatoes.

Hope you get some treats in your groceries. I'll finish another short job at the content writing site and get that submitted. Other than that, just yakking, playing with the kitty and waiting for the thunderstorms. Already heard some rumbling from the mountains, if those clouds get here we're in for a show.Hope it brings good rainfall

I had to run a few errands, drop off some paperwork, and sign a few checks for the non-profit organization I am the secretary of. Knocked all that out early this morning before it got too hot. And good thing too, it's storming pretty wickedly out there right now!

The landscapers came out and cleaned out around the house so that the painters can paint. I asked them to take out the weeds in the beds next to our front walk. It ended up that we now have mostly dirt in the front beds. I don't know which looks worse -- jungle or desert?
