"Take off our jackets. Hang them up Take our gloves off Take our shoes off Put them where they're supposed to go. You take off your brave feeling Because there's nothing to be scared of in the house: No dark caves no monsters no witches no bees no howling sounds You don't need your brave anymore Wash your hands Eat lunch Go get cosy" (Quoting a poem by Nadim Shamma-Sourgen) It's amazing to watch how some kids are able to reach jaw-dropping achievements in their young age, and this is one of them. The poem above is simple and yet inspirational. Kate Clanchy, a poet and teacher who had won Orwell prize, discovered Nadim's talent in arranging words in such a beautiful manner. Now, Nadim has landed a book deal with Walker Books, which will release his poem collection next summer.
Nadim Shamma-Sourgen’s words, evoking a ‘whole world full of hugs’, were spotted by the writer Kate Clanchy and will be published next summer

Good to see a kid at such age being creative rather than spending time on smartphones.

Agree. Too many kids are addicted to smartphones these days.
